What is DXF Pattern?

DXF (Drawing exchange format) is the most common file format for sharing among various CAD programs. It was developed by Autodesk, creator of the well-known AutoCAD, to enable interoperability between AutoCAD and other programs. DXF files are vector graphic files that store 2D drawings. They can contain 3D data. However, DXF files are primarily used for 2D data exchange among different CAD programs. Since DXF drawings do not include dimensions, the user must indicate the unit used to create the drawing when converting the original CAD file to a DXF file. Visit our blog to learn more about DXF patterns and their purpose.

Digital DXF Patterns Downloads

Our digital DXF patterns are engineered for apparel brands, manufacturers, sewing contractors, pattern makers, small independent brands, and 3D product creators.

All our DXF digital patterns are created without seam allowance, allowing pattern block modification and final design execution per your modification.

Since digital downloads are not tangible products, all sales are final without the option to issue refunds or returns.

However, we are available to assist with any issues you might have with the digital files you purchased and downloaded.

Please reach out to our customer service at sales@taas.nyc.

All our block patterns are graded for the size range in alpha sizing unless otherwise stated in the product description.

The zipped file includes the following:

-DXF file with a ruler

-A spec sheet with detailed POM-s (points of measure) for the garment in size range specified in the description.

-"How- to measure" guide visually explains each POM on a 3D sketch.

-Pattern card/cutters must (all pieces inventory) for the designated pattern.

If you need assistance and guidance to modify the block pattern reach out to us via the contact page with the modification description, and we will get back to you with a quote.
